Ipamorelin is a synthetic peptide belonging to the group of growth hormone secretagogues (GHS). It is used in laboratories to study growth hormone secretagogue secretion through selective stimulation of the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a). Ipamorelin is frequently studied for its high selectivity and mild side effect profile compared to other GHRP peptides.
Research findings
In vitro studies show that Ipamorelin increases endogenous growth hormone release without significantly affecting cortisol or prolactin production.
Researchers use Ipamorelin to:
To investigate the physiological role of ghrelin receptors
To study the effect of growth hormone on muscle and recovery processes
To analyze interactions between GH release and metabolism in cell models
Studies:

Research context
Applied in laboratories for research into growth hormone-related pathways, muscle recovery, and metabolic regulation.
Not developed for human use, consumption or medical applications.
